Last we heard from Dr. Laura, she was done with the sport. An expensive and less than successful big boat program (the Kernan 47 Katana), combined with her complaints about others cheating in the SD-PV race had her waving bye-bye to a sport that she once aggressively pursued. Imagine our surprise when looking at the entry list for the Dago nood and we came across this.
We’ll track her down at the event (yes, the Ed is sailing, but not on a Tiger), and in between laughing at her right-wing politics, we’ll ask her why she finally did exactly what we told her to do about a year ago – get a one design boat and go sailing…
