Our friends at Crowley’s Yacht Yard are big players on the Strictly Sail stage. Here’s what they are up to.
Crowley’s manages and staffs some of the biggest booths at the show including SLAM, Henri Lloyd, Lewmar and Sperry. The main Crowley’s booth is back, the Close-Out booth is bigger than ever, both are full of great stuff from Spinlock, Mustang Survival, Gill, Adidas, Henry Lloyd, North Face, SLAM, and much, much more. Stop by for the best deal of the year on anything you need.
At the yard, we’re busier than ever, and we just finished a complicated but exciting turbo project on a SC52. The rig shop is going through the 200+ rigs that came into the shop in the fall, inspecting, tweaking and tuning. The gear heads in the Mechanical Shop are rebuilding engines. The store is getting a face lift, bringing in a bigger part of the Gill line, and creating a new service counter to answer all of the boating questions you can think of. The Fiberglass Shop is stripping decks, repainting topsides, and applying both race and cruiser bottom jobs. Our systems experts are installing new equipment and the yard guys are busy moving boats and just trying to stay warm.

Oh, and don’t forget to hit up the Winter Anarchy Party at Lizzie McNeill’s at 9pm on Friday the 25th and, if you’re still standing on Saturday, come out to the Pink Pony Party at Chicago Yacht Club’s Belmont Station and party like you just got to Mackinac (okay, maybe not quite that hard).
