The father of Alexis Busch, a 26 year-old female sailor who was killed after the 38-foot Low Speed Chase went aground in rough weather while sailing in the April 14 Farallones Race, filled a wrongful-death lawsuit against the boat’s owner, James Bradford who survived the wreck.
Five people, including Busch were killed in the accident and three crew members survived, including Busch’s boyfriend, Nick Vos, 26, Bryan Chong, and boat owner Bradford.
Corey Busch filed the suit Tuesday in San Francisco Superior Court. It seeks unspecified damages. More details as we get them.
