No reason for panic or a media storm just yet, but in at least a few models, Tropical Storm Sandy might just deliver a perfect bomb to the Northeast next week after screwing up the A-Cat Worlds later this week in Florida. One Euro model forecast pegs the low at an almost unimaginable 926 MB as it sweeps the NJ coastline; while others send the storm out to sea, with boat-hauling season in full swing, it pays to stay on top of potentially frightful conditions on the Atlantic seaboard.
The latest speculation is of course in the thread, and check the official NHC discussion and graphics here.
