Day One in Nice was a blowout penultimate event of the 2012 Extreme Sailing Series; only the second wind-cancelled day in the six-year history of the series. They gave it a shot but an hour of screwing around under postponement in 30+ knots with boat-breaking waves rolling through the course convinced everyone to hit the bar instead.
