Don’t let the grin fool you; this is one intense dude.  And after getting within spitting distance at every one of the past five Worlds, Scott Babbage wants the 2012 Moth World Championship very, very much.  Good thing he’s off to a start we haven’t seen since Rohan Veal’s dominant days:  6 bullets in the first 6 qualifying races gave Babbage the clear push to the Gold Fleet racing, which starts today.  

Bora Gulari, Josh McKnight, and Anthony Kotoun tied for second at the end of the qualifiers, the format counting the qualifying series as one non-discardable race for the overall title, with up to 9 Gold Fleet races making up the balance.
