the other side

In response to Vamp’s sunset photo taken on the way home from Bermuda, here is one taken on the way to Bermuda. In fact, we were only miles away from Vamp in the Newport Bermuda race when this was taken. From the Navy 44 Defiance (2nd overall) after a long, wet, and fast day of slogging through the Gulf Stream, with all the sail we could possibly hold.
Props go out to all of Navy sailing with all five crews doing the Bermuda races this summer, getting onto the podium. Here is a great article from the local paper. – Anarchist Todd.
