Bid ‘adieu’ to the 2012 Volvo Ocean Race with their final appearance – the in-port race in Galway. Saturday morning (4:45 am, Pacific) will see the final in-port series champ crowned, but mostly it’s a chance to show off and say goodbye as a great adventure ends. Gotta say, this was a really compelling race in so many ways and we are going to miss it. Let’s hope the next version gains some real momentum – we’d love to see it become something bigger and better, which if things are done correctly, it can.
