A different kind of Flip, but no less troubling, is trimmer Philip “Flipper” Wehrheim on Johnny Demourkas Farr 40 “Groovederci”.  Flip’s July 4th attire was spotted by a photographer during day 1 of the Farr 40 North Americans, and we dig it.  

Not only because it’s so NASCAR, but because it shows that the Farr 40 Class is finally past taking itself so seriously – the same reason the once-dominant but nearly deceased Grand Prix Class is now undergoing something of a mini-resurgence going into September’s Chicago-based Worlds.  NA results and other stuff here.
