a flock of duicks

Eric Tabarly changed the world of ocean racing forever, igniting a nation with a love for the sport, and his vehicle was a fleet of boats named Pen Duick, which spanned the design curve from a wooden rater to an alloy cat to a Whitbread maxi.

Thanks to the stewardship of the Association Eric Tabarly and the financial support of Banque Populaire (which appropriately calls itself ‘the sailing bank’), the entire fleet of remaining Pen Duick’s is going on a trip from Brittany to the Med, with each ship visiting different ports to help the public rediscover the ‘history, glory, and grace’ of these exceptional yachts.

Thanks to Presuming Ed for the heads up, and check out the Google trans of the story here to find out where you might be able to check out one of Tabarly’s fliers.
