This amazing Volvo Ocean Race drama continues today, when the fleet heads off to one of the world’s greatest sailing cities – Lorient, France.  It’s a short jaunt as the crow flies (or the car drives), but not the way these boys are doing it:  Leg 8 is roughly 2000 NM, leaving the Azores  to starboard.
