White horses built to a feisty 28+ knots on the Bay of the opening day of La Semaine Olympique Francaise, the final mass Olympic classes event in the run-up to the Games in Weymouth. Most classes were either held ashore or abandoned but for some of those that raced it proved an expensive day. One 2.4M sank and another dismasted.
