ice weekend
Just back from a weekend of DN racing in Sandviken, Sweden which seemed like a Mini European Championship with competitors from Switzerland, Germany, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Sweden.
Friday training was run in strong winds with a mini snowstorm but Saturday all was good as you can see from picture. 53 starters, 4 races, Wind was blowing from 8-12m/sec. Karol Jablonski won after a tough battle with fellow countryman Toma Zakrewski, followed by Swedish Tomas Lindgren. All are safe and happy at home after some long journeys through the Sunday night into Monday morning. – Anarchist Manfred.
