Our pals at Doyle NZ have been extremely busy lately showing that Doyle and water are a match made in heaven. Not only have they jumped into the IMOCA, Volvo 70, and AC45 fleets with both feet and some stellar results, but just last week, Alex Vallings aboard C-Tech cranked up the Kiwi juice with his new Doyle ICE sails to win the 18 Footer Worlds/Mark Foy Trophy in Auckland over a 14-boat field. Doyle helped Alex put notice to the Americans (Howie Hamlin got second) and the Aussies in advance of the JJ Giltinan next month, and we’ll have a report from him soon.
