There have thankfully been few major incidents of Christmas sailing carnage this holiday week, though we’re sad to report that the USCG in Hawaii called off their search a few days ago for Seattle sailor Ira Foreman, who arrived in Kuai in December from American Samoa. He departed Kuai on the 17th to meet his wife in Oahu the next day, and by the 24th, she reported no contact with him. The USCG search covered hundreds of square miles with no sign of the boat. Know something about Foreman? Please check in with the thread here.
Update: Foreman sailed in to the Big Island yesterday. Boat and sailor are fine. He apparently just dosen’t do what he tells he wife…Story.
