The Ed took this trippy shot from SDYC this evening while getting Anarchy ready to launch after banging his way into the rocks last month. We hit hard and there was not insignificant internal cracks as well as buggering the bulb. The boat looks ready to go again, and we want to give a quick shout out to all the folks who made getting the boat fixed so painless and efficient: Oversea Insurance Agency and Markel Insurance were incredibly responsive and thorough, Bill Trenkle from Todd and Associates did an outstanding job assessing the damage (even thermal imaged the hull), Erik Rogers and Dan Fitzgerald for their rigging and fairing skills, and Shelter Island Boat Yard for what looks to be excellent repair work. All of these people really delivered and we thought they deserved their propers. People usually only say something to complain, it is nice to do quite the opposite.
But not to worry, we’ll probably be bitching about them all next week…!
