half-er

Well, sometimes we leave ’em just the way we get ’em. Live from theĀ Transat Jacques Vabrerace course onboard the 40′ Solo.

We celebrated in addition to 3rd place, which is held by 40 Degrees, is now only 7.89 nm in front of us after we have all day “GAIN”, brought in all the boats in front, some with tens of mil only during the day. In the latest report yesterday we were 29 nm for her, we then brought in 21 nm today.

Everything goes as smoothly. We are very pleased with the move and pick-up has gone smoothly. Now it’s Hanna’s turn. We chose to move forward on the starboard tack in the ocean to the Caribbean, but has now jibber and go for the port tack as she did for about 100 nm since. Can look like we manage 10 degrees higher than Hanna as we jibber on a large wind shift. So we’ll see if this is set to come before her.

Give the gas!
