dry run

Here’s a shot from Texas Parks & Wildlife showing just how bad it’s gotten in Lake Travis near Austin, TX, with the period from September 2010 to September 2011 recording the lowest volume of rainfall in recorded history. The lake is losing nearly a foot each week, and worse yet, forecasters say the drought could continue for another 9 years. Glad to see there’s nothing to this global warming thing. Maybe certified loon Rick Perry can pray for rain. Again.

Landsailing, anyone? Thanks to SA’er ‘the_abandoned_brane’ for the tip.
