We understand it’s a bit early for official announcements, but our deep-cover reporters inside the Melges 32 Class tell us that teams have all but reserved their rooms for a major January regatta in South Florida – and it ain’t in Key West.  

We expect the Melges 32 to move either to a new venue in Lauderdale or somewhere closer to Key West, perhaps the same Ocean Reef Club that pulled in 99 M24’s back in the day. The biggest OD class leaving KWRW? This would a pretty big deal for a lot of very interested people. Stay tuned.
