ups and downs

We make no bones about digging those who go outside the box, and what’s more outside than shipping one of the most advanced racing machines ever built down to New Zealand to race against ordinary boats?  Props to Simon Hull and the Vodafone Sailing Team for doing their thing with Mich Desjoyeaux’s old Geant, and we hope to see them with a new mast before too long.  Here’s a short clip of their ups and downs from the 2010 season, including a great clip of the dismasting in the final few seconds of the vid.
