There’s plenty of tragedy and loss to go around Eastern Oz this month as floods continue to ravage towns as high as 800 meters above sea level and spread to the South as far as Brisbane.  But as you might expect from our often comedic cousins, there’s some humor to be found in the mayhem, provided here by a couple who needed rescue after the blow-up doll they were riding down the swollen Yarra River got snagged on a tree branch.  The Herald Sun’s money quote?  “The incident led police to warn that blow-up dolls were not recognised floatation devices.”  Thanks to Penny for the tip.
