What we just love about going back and looking at IOR boats in their various incarnations is that there is almost always some aspect of the design that just looks bizarre. Like this tidy little 3/4 tonner – take a look at that house – good lord! It looks like they just built a box and attached it.Obviously done for headroom requirements, but just so brutal in it’s execution. Here’s the skinny from anarchist owner Jelmer.

Designed by Niels Jeppesen and build in 1991 to compete in the in the 1991 ¾ ton world cup for Sweden. It’s the only ¾ ton yacht build out of aluminum profiles which are glued together. I bought the boat in 2004 in Sweden and sailed it to Holland to sail club regattas. Here are a few more photos for you.
