back on out

Within an hour last night, 5 boats dropped out of the Sydney to Hobart race in breezy and rough conditions. The Stick, Swish, YuuZoo, Shamrock and Southern Excellence all withdrew for various reasons. Full story here and photo thanks to News Limited Australia. click here for loads more photos.

Update: Now add Brindabella, Alchemy III and Scarlett Runner to the list of DNF’s which now totals 11.
