The Vintage Yachting Games Organization is challenging International Orientated Yacht clubs to submit proposals for the 2016 Vintage Yachting Games.This event for the former Olympic Classes is held every four years. After Medemblik in 2008, Lake Como in Italy is organizing the event in 2012 for the following classes:

Europe (Male & Female), Flying Dutchman, Tempest, Soling, 5.5 Meter, Dragon,
12’ Dinghy, Yngling.

The organizing country in 2016 must anticipate also on the participation of more Metre classes and the classes that will be discontinuing their Olympic career after 2012.

At this moment interest is shown for the organization of the 2016 Vintage Yachting Games from:
Germany (Chiemsee),
Romania and
