The US Air Force – Great Lakes Division – is on the move, and here our resident photographic editor puts down the lens long enough to help load one of the International Moth Wings that could just propel either Bora Gulari or Bear Peet to a World Title in just a few weeks.  Obviously it’s light enough for slender Mer to womanhandle around,  but apparently if she told you exactly how light, she’d have to kill you.

Fitting Bora and Bear’s two full wings and a spare in a 20’ container turned out to be a lot easier than fitting the RIB and outboard that’ll be their daily commuter down at the Belmont (AUS) Moth Worlds in January.  It rides along with five Moths, a dozen masts, three wings, and a pile of odds and ends, and is roughly half the US fleet that will be making its way down under for this awesome championship.  For the rest of the pack-up pics, including more of Mer, go here. And a nice video on the Moth Euro’s can be viewed here.
