We can all agree that is one big crane, yes? But when you see the rig it is about to un-step, it suddenly doesn’t look quite so big, now does it? Need a bit more perspective? Check out the ant, er, we mean human under the rig here. Below is the story from Todd Cooper, RSB Rigging Solutions:

The mast is from the 52.7mtr (172.9ft) sloop rigged sailing yacht Red Dragon. Total mast  length is 64mtrs (209.9 ft). The mast weighed in at just over 13 tons fully dressed, and  has been removed for its standard maintenance period. These large masts are starting to become more common place these days as the yachts just keep getting larger and larger!
