The Graels, a Brazilian sailing family, whose foremost members are Torben, multi-Olympic champion and winner skipper of the last Volvo Ocean Race, and his brother Lars, who was also an Olympic sailor (and has lost a leg during a Tornado race some 10 years ago when a drunken power boater ran over his boat), run a NGO called "Projeto Grael" that offers youngsters, specially from poorer communities, the opportunity of education and socialization through nautical activities. – Anarchist Norberto.
