the big fall
As Ellison and co. get the big push for a US Cup, AC Challenger Vincenzo Onorato gets to deal with the aftermath of a horrible tragedy aboard one of his Moby ferries Saturday night. Two young German tourists died after their car plunged into the waters off Olbia when the boat surged forward on landing, and the Genoa judiciary has opened an investigation into the matter for manslaughter and ‘culpable disaster,’ which we think means ‘reckless homicide’. The story in La Nuova goes on to say that yachtsman "Onorato has not been arrested" but we don’t know if Italian law means he might be. Bad times; and having ridden that ferry ourselves, scary ones.
