world’s girls
Official Melges 24 Class photographer Pierrick Contin is doing a hell of a job shooting the 2010 Marinepool Melges 24 World Championship, and we figured we’d highlight his work with a new hottie from Estonia each day. Speaking of Worlds, the fleet finally had some breeze today in races 4 and 5, andUka Uka Racing owner Lorenzo Santini said "I finally got a chance to help the team race – so far I’ve spent 70% of the regatta down below in the light air." Uka Uka, with Rufo Bressani on the stick and Jonathan McKee on tactics, stormed to another solid day and a 15-point lead after five races, the only boat without a double-digit finish up to this point. One race saw six different nations in the first six finishes, attesting to how truly international the class is despite the Italian domination at most major events.
Check out some very hot racing pictures (and plenty of equally hot deck and dock candy pictures) at Pierrick’s Worlds gallery here. Results are here, and there are a pile of racing vids here at the official blog.
