Longtime anarchist and Paralympic Gold Medalist Maureen McKinnon Tucker is running a 2.4mR demo and clinic this weekend at Piers Park Sailing Center in Boston this weekend for the disabled as well as regular old knuckleheads. There should be five boats with room for up to 50 sailors. Moe and USSTAG team members Marc LeBlanc and Hugh Fruend will give the clinic, which will include test sails, round robin racing on Saturday, and Gold and Silver races for those who qualify on Sunday. It should be a hoot, and is a great opportunity to check out the same fun little boat that our own Dawg sails, with big fleets in Ontario, Noroton, and Florida. Here’s the website for more info and to sign up. A great chance for able-bodies folks to get lessons from a bunch of gimps. Photo thanks to Dan Tucker.
