The nutty professors and mothies that have created and developed the foiler/catamaran hybrid ‘SYZ & CO’ have done some serious work to their sleek machine, adding 2 meters of mast and a pro-crew led by Luc De Bois to take on this weekend’s Bol D’Or in Lake Geneva.  While conditions will need to be perfect for them (read: windy) in a place known for its light air, we can’t help but cheer these boys on for their creativity.  Check out the Bol D’Or site here, and check in Sunday to track the race live (for 100 boats our of almost a thousand).  Photo from recent training by the excellent Loris von Siebenthal.
