The first of the production Shaw 650s has rolled out of the shop and even gotten wet, and it looks even badder -ass than the custom jobs that it’s modeled on. With a tiny bulb, a metric shitload of winged righting moment, and piles of sail area, this thing’s numbers make a Melges seem like a cruising boat – we’ll have a complete sailing report soon, and there’s more info on the thread.
We also hope to see how it stacks up to the other hot sportboats in the sector at this year’s Sailing Anarchy Sportboat Worlds/ISAF Regatta. How will you stack up? Register now to find out at the most off-the-hook sportboat regatta in history. 24 boats are in to date, with fleets of older sporties, small sporties, big sporties, and high-po dinghies like the moth all coming – get your asses down here!
