What is LiveSkipper?

How to play?
Create your boat and compete against real skippers or virtual opponents. Choose your sail, your heading, check the weather conditions and start evolving around the world! Various races are available for all players: real or virtual, long or short.
When are the races?
Every Friday, LiveSkipper allows all players to line up for the start of “The Friday Race”. This week, on Friday, May 28th, LiveSkipper takes you to Sri Lanka!
Furthermore, some bigger races are suggested such as the “Vendée – Saint Petersburg”. This real race in two legs offers a new and demanding route aboard boats of the young Multi50 class (50 ft. multihulls). For this first edition, nine crews are started on Sunday, May 16th from Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, in Vendée, to join Saint Petersburg. After a short stage in Russia, they will set off and head back on Monday, May 31st at 4pm (French hour). LiveSkipper make it possible for everyone to live this unique racing adventure in real time. For all sailing fans, LiveSkipper allows you to create your own virtual boat and to line up for the start of this virtual race. All players can take part in this sailing competition on the Web or on your iPhone, and challenge each other in real weather conditions!
