Once in a while a picture just speaks to you, as this Giles Martin-Raget shot did when we looked at the new graphics on the boom of the RC44 ‘Katusha’ during the Austrian round of the RC44 circuit. We’re not sure what the "Borat/Beach" text means, but after looking at the second pic, we realized that it sure does work as a handy new nickname for Paul Cayard.
Interestingly, the RC-44 looks to have pulled in a new live tracking program for this event that you can watch here over the next couple of days. It’s a little dopey at the moment, but it’s early days; and since the company behind it does tracking for a pile of different sports, and that means we might just see some cool new features in course-racing trackers, something that a lot more events need.
