The unfortunate joke of a Farr 40 Worlds running in the Dominican Republic this week just can’t buy a break, with the DR’s reliable trades deserting the ten-boat fleet today, much as the international fleet deserted the Casa De Campos event. The lousy wind forced PRO Luigi Reggio into an abandonment, and added to the pile of questions for the mastermind behind this brilliant choice of venue. Winning after one day’s racing is…ah, who are we kidding. We don’t care, and you probably don’t either – though you can likely find results and a few boring ten-boat shots on the crappy official site. Of course not everyone is happy we’re not there to cover it. What do you think?
