New custom boat builders Carbon Ocean Yachts already have things well under way and here are a couple of updates from them…
Hull fit out is at the mechanical, electrical and plumbing installation phase. Rough plumbing is underway including water and fuel tanks. Major electrical distribution runs are completed as are fresh water distribution piping.
Joiner work installation is 50% complete and efforts are beginning on installation of the main salon and galley.
The final fitting of the deck to the hull commences on 17 May and is expected to take one week. Carbon Ocean Yachts welcomes parties to tour the build facility and gain a firsthand view of the current project and their world-class composites capabilities.
Carbon Ocean Yachts is pleased to announce principals of the company will attend the Hublot PalmaVela Regatta, 14-18 April. Brian Benjamin, David Lake and Britt Colombo are excited to attend this event. Additionally, Simon Rogers, the designer of the Carbon Ocean 82, plans to attend.
Brian will race his current mini maxi Aegir. David and Britt will race with prospective clients.
Carbon Ocean Yachts views the Med as a major market for the Carbon Ocean 82 and therefore plans to attend many relevant events.
