The Yacht "California" skippered by Londoner Pete Rollason limps across the
Pacific Ocean after being dismasted by during violent storm, whist racing
from Qingdao to San Francisco. The yacht was hit side on by a vast wave
causing it to roll, breaking the mast in the process. One of the 13 british
crew members, Company Director Clive Cockram, 53, from London received head
injuries in as the yacht rolled and has had to be evacuated to a Norwegian
tanker that was directed to assist the stricken vessel. His condition is
