This isn’t exactly our cup of tea (although we do like the straight bow!), but a closer look reveals a line of cruisers that look like they could sail through anything. This is the new Bestevaer 45 designed by Dykstra & Partners and to be built by K&M
Yachtbuilders. Interestingly, they build their boats out of aluminum, an art/science that sems to be fairly rare these days. It is worth noting that K&M has five works in progress: an Icon 48, an Axonite 69, a Stadtship 54
and a Stadtship 56. Also, last week saw the delivery of a 70 foot hull to Nordia van Dam. 2010 for them is being ushered in with the start of a 49ST, followed by the 45ST.
