The odds-on favorite for line honors in the upcoming Sydney Hobart race, Wild Oats is captured here by local yachting scribe and photog Crosbie Lorimer and got this shot of ‘Oats’ coming back into Sydney Harbour for a rig adjustment late yesterday – just before sunset. WO just completed a 24-hour sailing trial off Sydney, and combined with winter mods that included being lengthened by half a meter and a few other changes, most aimed at reducing weight and increasing speed, the boat is looking very good for the win.
