12 months ago a fleet of new Platu 25’s were blonked in the water days before this huge event! Dean Barker took out top spot but was defiantly under pressure from some of the other top NZ skippers and their crews.
This year the fleet has been improved and are now producing top level sailing. RAYC are holding the event again to find the best keelboat sailors in New Zealand but entries close soon on the 7th September 2009.
