Tall Order

The Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge continues to please visitors, local governments, sponsors, and above all, sailors.  This week the flotilla left Belfast for its final leg, after significantly higher-than-expected attendance, logging over 160,000 visitors to Queen’s Quay on their biggest day, and over 100,000 on even the rainy day.  There are few things as cool as a square rigger under full sail.  Don’t believe us?  Check out this awesome BBC video that captures the flavor of these monsters.  And the organizers of the summerlong event have done a great job assembling posts, pictures, videos and blogs from participants from all over the  world – check it out.
