Service With A Smile

While our Cruising Anarchy forum presented by Gunboat is hugely active with more than 70,000 posts in three years, it remains a kinder, gentler place than the other Sailing Anarchy forums.  There are plenty of shitfights and opportunities for fun at other people’s expense, but, as you’d expect from cruisers, there’s also lots of touchy-feely cameraderie, great advice without the insults, and occasionally, something we don’t see often enough:  Unabashed praise for sailing industry companies.

Cruising Anarchist “Gatekeeper” starts a lot of good conversations, but his recent thread on companies and individuals who’ve made gone way past customer service, been tireless workers and generous providers, and made life generally easier on all of us is his best.  Check it out to find out who some of the good guys and girls are in this business, and rave about someone who did you right.
