Sailing Anarchy Rules, Part II

Yesterday, we pimped for some new racing rules and our friends at Velocitek thought that the idea of having the Sailing Anarchy community help create a new and simplified version of racing rules was a great idea. So great that they are giving a Speedpuck to the anarchist who comes up with the best version of rules. That’s it, simply create the rules that you think we can best race with, be the best, and win a Speedpuck.

We’re looking for a ten-rule system that covers almost every situation in club level fleet racing.  Write as many or as few as you’d like, and be creative; if you can justify a reason for port tack having right of way over starboard tack, have at it.  If you think rum shots are an appropriate penalty for some infractions, feel free to say so.  As stated, the best one wins a Speedpuck, and the next best two writers that come up with the most useful set of rules will win SA Dryshirts,  and we’ll publish all of them once the contest is over. So send ’em in to us or jump over to the crazed thread and post ’em there.
