Apples and Oranges

One of the few distance races to offer a trophy for First To Finish Elapsed without distinguishing between multi and monohulls, the SaveOn Foods Van Isle 360 has just started its eighth leg, a 137 mile blast through the open Pacific to the west of Vancouver Island.  Going into the leg, the Perry 66 ‘Icon‘ leads the formula 40 ‘Dragonfly’ for the overall trophy by just 7 minutes – this awesome Sean Trew shot was taken as Dragonfly screamed to the finish of Leg 7.  Photo from our old pal Sean Trew/Pacific Fog.
