Celebrating Earth Day

Celebrating Earth Day

We know we’ve run a seal hunt story or two before, and we always get X amount of complaints, never about the slaughter, but about how we don’t know what we’re talking about, that we’re hypocrites, blah blah blah. Whatever, we’re not giving up as long as this sickening annual ritual continues. April 22 was Earth Day, a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment. It was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson in 1970 and is celebrated in many countries every year. This year, more than six million Canadians will have participated in some sort of Earth Day activity, but 6000 Canadians will be far too busy despoiling a pristine landscape with the results of their obscene cruelty.

We find this practice to be barbaric. What sort of person can “celebrate” Earth Day by creating rivers of blood in a sparkling ocean? What sort of Government can allow this to go on and even provide the ships that open up the ice, so that these cruel men can reach their helpless targets. It isn’t right. Look at the pictures, then sign the pledge if you agree.
