The 14 solo Figaro sailors, in the Transat BPE, from Belle-Île-en-Mer to Marie-Galante, set out today in very peaceful conditions. In fact, just as the fleet of spectator boats had decided to head back to port, the light wind completely died. It’s going to be a long, long night and patience, rather than seamanship is going to be most needed.
