Got it All

The Grand Prix Petit Navire is the sort of event that only the crazy French could put on. Everything happens there; you get ORMA tri’s towing water-skiers, RTW sailors racing kids in Optis and a host of other crazy stuff, as well as serious racing. Even then you get crazy sights, like IMOCA 60s racing right next to Dragons!

This year, the event has been declared the official venue for the European Kite Sailing Championship and points gained will count for the Worlds. Organizing the kite event – as well as competing – is a girl who really qualifies for the Sailor Chick title, coz she’s got it all. Fabienne d’Ortoli is bright, has the looks, and surfs, windsurfs and kite surfs.
