Rum Dum
Chris Thompson (ISV), skippered his J 27 " J Walker" through 30 knots of air Saturday and Sunday to win
St Croix Yacht Clubs International Regatta. A 7 race
series where top prize is the skippers weight in
Cruzan Rum. Key to the program was college sailing
coach Russ O’Reilly on tactics, boat speed and trimming main.
He had us working every wave down wind. Rounding out the all
STYC crew were Frank Barnes (jib), Tommy Kozyn (spin trim),
Brian Walden (bow), Gordon Hackstaff (mast), Andrea "Dre" Tromben.
