A Shining Moment

An amazing, historic event took place last night. Barack Obama was elected as President of the United States of America. Most who saw his victory speech last night simply have to feel great hope for the future. He is a bright and strong man who will indeed make a terrific President, especially after eight years of one who couldn’t speak in complete sentences. Hell, even John McCain was gracious in asknowledging what a good candidate Obama was. Some of you could learn a lesson from the man you backed. Here are both their speeches and if you haven’t seen them, they are worth watching.

It was not really my intention to spend much time on these topics, but I have chosen to do so, losing both advertisers and readers in the process. They are losses I am willing to take as I am that passionate about this country regaining its bearing. There is a greater good and much more important goals to focus on. Today I feel a great sense of relief that the people of this country have seen fit to take this country in a direction that I happen to think is the correct one. We’ll say good riddance to arguably one of this country’s biggest presidential disasters in history, and hope for a new day under one who could potentially be one of its greatest.

I now promise to get back to our regularly scheduled programming. At least until I have something else to bitch about…
