Top End Stays

Gotta say we were wondering how long Big Money could continue to buy
giant boats and all the accutramonts as if the economy wasn’t tubing,
and the answer is apparently forever. According to this Italian study
many luxury good are finally going to slow down, but not the yachts:

The only bright spot on the luxury horizon is yachts – especially
the ultra high-end of the market, starting at around 15 million euros
($19.78 million), or one-third of the sector. This is forecast to grow
18 percent by 2010 to 4.9 billion euros ($6.46 billion) from 3 billion
euros ($3.96 billion) in 2007.
